At the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront there are restaurants, hotels, theatres, cinemas, museums, organized boat trip, helicopter flips, walking tour, visit the craft market, listen to live music or even enjoy the rich variety of outdoor entertainment. The Two Oceans aquarium and gem stone scratch patch is also close by.
Table Mountain with its cable way is probably the most well known attraction in Cape Town. Just a short 15 minutes drive from the center of the town you will be at chartered paths’ starting points of the mountain. After a half an hours’ brisk walk you will find yourself in the solitude of a ravine or next to a waterfall or surrounded by ‘fynbos’. If you want to take the cable way up the mountain you can do so in an ultra modern cable car that can carry up to 65 people. While riding in the car you have a birds eye’s view of the city, Camps Bay, Lions Head and a close up of the mountain itself. All of this while the floor of the car reveloves a full 360 degrees during your five minute journey.
If the mountain and waterfront is not enough for you, go to the Castle of Good Hope. Take a tour back into South Africa’s history.
