      Your checked baggage allowance is 20kgs and carry on 7kgs.

      Any additional luggage you might have the airline will charge for this as excess baggage and needs to be paid direct to Cathay Pacific.

      When “checking in” online and reserving your seat you need to go directly to the airline’s website. You will need to enter certain information: name/airline reference number/passport number. The Travelstart ref number is not used for this. If you run into problems please call 0861 878 272 or email info@travelstart.com

      Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I sincerely regret to hear that you are not happy about the Service Package and seating. I have done a search using your e-mail address and managed to locate your booking.

      I have tired to contact you however it goes to voice mail and only allows one to leave a message.

      I see you purchased our Service Package, however we were not able to assist with seating as Lufthansa now charges for this. Even when booking directly with the airline these regulation would have applied.

      A refund will be made for the service package as we were not able to assist with your request. As the booking was paid via EFT I will be sending an e-mailing requesting banking details so the necessary refund can be made.

      Please reply to refunds@travelstart.com once they have this information they can process the refund.

      I do apologies for the inconvenience caused and thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns on this public forum.

Your call centre assured me all was well and offered to resend the ticket and invoice at 09.20 this am. Its now 11.00 on 30/3/2014 and still nothing yet????? Your call centre takes ages to answer

    There seems to be a time difference of half an hour from our booking. We are concerned that we are not going to have enough time for our connection flight to Johannesburg.

      I can see a Schedule change was made to your booking however this will not effect the minimum connecting time you have.

      The airline minimum connecting time is 45 minutes and you currently have 1 hour and 35 minutes so its still fine.

      If you were trying to confirm your booking on checkmytrip this would not be possible for low cost carriers like Skywise. You would need to go directly onto the airlines website to manage your booking. Once on their website you click “Manage my booking” then provide your surname and booking reference number, and your booking details will appear.

      To check for flight schedule changes you would need to log onto the airlines website or contact them direct.

      To do online check-in you could do this on their website 24 hours prior to departure directly on their website.

      When checking in you would present your original ID book along with your Skywise booking reference number.

      With most airlines one is only able to call up their booking 24 hours prior to departure on the airlines website.

      If you are traveling with a low cost carrier like, Fly Safair or Mango changes need to be made over the phone as payment needs to be taken telephonically.

      For last minute changes you welcome to contact the airline direct.

      All changes need to be made minimum 8 hours prior to original date / time of departure.

      If you look on the e-ticket we e-mailed through you will see there is a green box. At the top of the box is says in bold blue: Booking Reference
      In the green box is says: “Your Airline Booking Reference” and next to that we have provided you with the airlines booking reference number for the outbound and return flight.

      I’ve called up booking: ZA02504601 and see the tickets have been issued and e-mailed to: windpompvleis@hotmail.com which is the e-mail address used to make the booking. I have just resent the e-tickets. You should receive them shortly.

      You welcome to go directly onto checkmytrip to call up your booking. Please insert the airline reference number and surname of the passenger. Here you will be able to see your confirmed flights and any last minute schedule changes.

      I’ve called up your booking: SA01662094 and see you made the booking on the 12 July and your ticket was issued the same day and e-mailed to: malyc@hotmail.com which is the e-mail address used to make the booking.

      We do have a 24 hours turn around time as we need to do back ground checks on the card before issuing the ticket and e-mailing. However I see the ticket was e-mailed the same day.

      When making a booking our service fees are included in the price you accepted when making the booking. However this is charged separately on the card.
      You will find two charges on your credit card. The ticket price and then our service fees.
      If you add up these two amounts it will add up to the amount accepted when making the booking. I have e-mailed the invoice to the e-mail address used to make the booking. If you have any other queries please e-mail urgent@travelstart.com
