Yazd experiences a desert climate, with blistering summers, frigid winters, and very little rainfall. Temperatures range from -1 degrees Celsius in winter to 40 degrees Celsius in summer. Yazd is a safe travel destination. However, using common sense and maintaining a certain level of vigilance is always recommended when travelling to a new city or country. Travel insurance to cover theft and medical expenses is recommended.
