Extension of the Car Rental period
It is NOT possible to extend the car rental through Travelstart after fetching the car. Please extend your car rental at the local deliverer, at their price.
Important!
Please note that, since Travelstart is a car rental agency, you usually have to fetch the car at its local deliverer. Look on the first page of your voucher, under Local Agent, to see which deliverer your rental car is booked through. Please note that the deliverer only accepts original driver’s licences. Any copies of your driver’s licence or police documents in case of loss etc. will not be accepted. When making additional payments at the location, local taxes will always be added. It is not possible to shorten the rental time at the location after the rental time has begun. One day = 24 hours.
Good to know when renting a car:
* There is no international law on when you are eligible to rent a car. However, the minimum age is usually 21 years. If you are under 25, remember that the rent is often higher and insurance costs more. Renting a car can also be a problem for those who are over 70.
* You need to have had your driver’s licence for at least a year.
* You can change or cancel your booking free of charge if you do this at least 24 hours before you were supposed to pick up the car.
* When picking up the car, the deliverer usually demands that a deposit is made to cover any potential damage to the car.
