It\u2019s <a title=\"Travelstart\" href=\"http:\/\/www.travelstart.co.za\/\" target=\"_blank\">Travelstart<\/a>\u2019s favourite lunch haunt when Emilia (our resident chef) isn\u2019t in the office, and even when she is making fantastic food for us we always tend to wind up here for \u00a0what has quickly become known as \u2018second lunch\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-19214\" href=\"https:\/\/travelstartstg.wpenginepowered.com\/earth-fair-market-cape-town\/earth-fair-market\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-19214\" title=\"Earth Fair Market\" src=\"https:\/\/www.travelstart.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Earth-Fair-Market.jpg\" alt=\"Earth Fair Market\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>It takes place every Thursday in the St Georges Mall outdoor arcade area (cnr St Georges Mall &amp; Church Street) from 11am to 5pm. Close to the tourist centric <strong>Greenmarket Square<\/strong>, the market attracts workers and tourists from all over the Cape Town CBD. While some opt for a Mexican snack, some delicious biltong or a piece of homemade fudge, others will fill up on their \u2018second lunch\u2019 and do some grocery shopping.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll see many familiar faces if you\u2019ve been to the well-established <a title=\"Old Biscuit Mill \" href=\"https:\/\/travelstartstg.wpenginepowered.com\/great-lunch-spots-in-woodstock\/\" target=\"_self\">Old Biscuit Mill<\/a> in Woodstock. Many of the same traders from the Biscuit Mill bring their fresh flavours and produce to the Earth Fair Market.<\/p>\n<h2>What\u2019s on offer at Earth Fair<\/h2>\n<p>Without giving too much away I&#8217;ll recommend you sample the delectable tastes of Montague Cheese \u2013 from goats cheese to cows milk cheese this stand is definitely worth a visit.
