Where better to learn from than the people on the street. Street food is where it\u2019s at right now, so here\u2019s a round-up of ten great street foods to try in ten fantastic foodie cities:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-24079\" href=\"https:\/\/travelstartstg.wpenginepowered.com\/10-of-the-world%e2%80%99s-best-street-foods\/digital-camera-2\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.travelstart.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/PICT06811.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Amsterdam: Frites with mayo<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No Dutch  meal is complete without a dash of mayo. Now, one deep-fried treat you  shouldn&#8217;t miss, whilst strolling along the canals, is frites. Especially  those sold at Rembrandt square. They are to die for!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>2. Istanbul: Kumpir <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pay a visit to the neighbourhood of Karak\u00f6y, where you\u2019ll find streets laden with food stalls selling these huge baked potatoes, topped with an array of dips, olives and more.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>3. Paris: Nutella Cr<\/strong><em>\u00ea<\/em><strong>pes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A visit to the city of love is not complete without a taste of their delicious choc-nut cr<em>\u00ea<\/em>pes. Pop over to Montparnasse, where you can find them from a vendor for under 6 euros.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Tel Aviv: Falafel<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll  know this one, but where better to try it than in Tel Aviv? Hong Kong: Shumai dumplings <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you&#8217;re in the mood for a greasy and cheap meal, you can find these pork-filled dumplings at almost any of Hong Kong&#8217;s best known night markets.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>8. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.travelstart.co.za\/lp\/kuala-lumpur\/flights\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Book cheap flights to Kuala Lumpur\">Kuala Lumpur<\/a>: Kway Teow noodles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This fried ricecake-strip dish is a seafood lover&#8217;s favourite.
