Here she tells us more:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> The town is known for\u2026<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Its most famous structure, the Taj Mahal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> A must-see?<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. Go early to the Taj Mahal before the crowds start to arrive. I went at 6:30 am and there were thousands of tourists already! There are no words to describe the beauty of the monument.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-26741\" src=\"https:\/\/www.travelstart.co.za\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/389349_10151430864190702_1324699521_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"484\" height=\"363\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> Interesting facts?<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif;\">The Taj Mahal took 22 years to build and all the marble were hand-carved. The monuments in Agra are closed on Fridays for\u00a0maintenance\u00a0and generations and generations of builders are still using the same techniques to help keep everything in order.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> Internet, ATMs, how does it work?<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Who has time to sit on the internet when you&#8217;re at the Taj Mahal? But if really needed (to post all your beautiful pictures online), there is internet at most hotels. There are ATMs in town, just be prepared for crazy traffic, cows in the streets and serious heart-wrenching poverty.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>How safe is?<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Just keep the basics with you as you don&#8217;t want to lug too many things around. I never felt scared though.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Are the people friendly\/ helpful?<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Very friendly! The great thing about India is that the locals pay a cheaper rate to see \u00a0the historical attractions so you get to interact with them quite often.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>People should try this local delicacy\u2026<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Paneer, the
