Now before you get excited, allow me to confess: I made this tour up. That doesn\u2019t mean it is any less spectacular, just that you won\u2019t be able to do it with a tour guide. Without further ado, here is the ultimate Amelie<\/strong> fan\u2019s Tour de Paris:<\/p>\n

Eat raspberries off fingers<\/strong>
\nBecause this is what Amelie does in the title credits of the movie, and because it is irresistible passing by the beautiful fruit stalls of Paris, and fun to sit on a bench in the middle of Montmartre and eat raspberries off your fingers (trust me, I know).<\/p>\n

Visit the Cafe des 2 Moulins<\/strong>
\nYes! Believe it or not, Amelie\u2019s caf\u00e9 exists! Okay, it\u2019s not quite as magical as it was in the movie, but you can definitely see traces of the caf\u00e9 in its current form, and if you are a real fan it\u2019s pretty awesome to be sitting in the caf\u00e9 itself. Just be warned that you will be sharing the moment with a lot of Asian tourists, who are every bit as much a fan as you are.
\nCollignon’s grocery store<\/strong>
\nThis too exists! But without the grumpy and delightful pair of grocers, what a shame!<\/p>\n

Montmartre carousel<\/strong>
\nPerhaps my favourite stop on the tour, this is where Amelie sets up the blind date to return the photo album\u2026 You can also climb the stairs Nino climbed, following the birdseed arrows, which are funnily enough directly below the Sacre Coeur! If you\u2019re not a fan, this will sound like gobbledygook.<\/p>\n

This is, regrettably, as far as my half-day tour reached, mainly because we wanted to have a lazy lunch and unwind before our overnight train to Milan. But if you\u2019re curious, the other stops on the tour would be:<\/p>\n
