My friend Mango Li Mozi is from Hong Kong, China, so I thought it best to let a native tell you more about this magnificent city, as it is today:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>In which area should you stay?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The subway system in Hong Kong is called the MTR (Metro) &#8211; it is everywhere. It is very convenient, so living close to a MTR station is essential for any traveller.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_28141\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-28141\" style=\"width: 438px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-28141  \" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/travelstartmu.wpenginepowered.com\/zablog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/10\/5021005528_5793d6f241_z.jpg\" width=\"448\" height=\"439\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-28141\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Tsim Sha Tsui<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>You simply must see&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fun areas to visit include Causeway Bay, Tsim Sha Tsuiand Wan Chai See. Be sure to catch a glimpse of the whole city on the peak at night!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lantau Island is definitely worth a visit. Places like Tai O on the island can show you a totally different picture of Hong Kong, quite the opposite of the hustle and bustle of inner Hong Kong city.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-28139\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/travelstartmu.wpenginepowered.com\/zablog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/10\/3438401292_8ee311ee08_z.jpg\" width=\"576\" height=\"364\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>You simply must eat&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dim sum! They come in so many different shapes, sizes and flavours. You can either eat in old fashioned dim sum restaurants or find a quiet modern spot &#8211; they are all over the city.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Are the people friendly\/ helpful?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Yes! And most people can understand basic English. Just don&#8217;t expect anything too advanced.<br \/>\n<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>How many days do you need in the city?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Four to five days should be enough, but you can always stay extra to learn more about the culture &#8211; and shop of course!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Any fun facts?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hong Kong has the world&#8217;s highest bar. The bar is called\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ritzcarlton.com\/en\/Properties\/HongKong\/Dining\/ozone\/Default.htm\">OZONE<\/a> and\u00a0 is proudly positioned on the top floor of the Ritz-Carlton hotel inside the International Commerce Centre in Kowloon.
