Yet, Belgium&#8217;s favourite street snack\u00a0<em>frites\u00a0<\/em>(fries) is probably even more popular. These twice (or sometimes even three) times fried chips are incredible. Just have it with their tangy mayo and salt. There are no words to describe it, especially if you&#8217;re a carb lover like me. The <em>mules\u00a0<\/em>or mussels that the Belgians are so well known for is also delicious, especially with a Belgium beer!<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/travelstartstg.wpenginepowered.com\/?attachment_id=28789\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-28789\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-28789\" src=\"https:\/\/travelstartmu.wpenginepowered.com\/zablog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2025\/10\/6290988693_e65389a3d9.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Turkey<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong><em>D\u00f6ner kebabs <\/em>are famous the world over, yet in Istanbul they make them just a little bit better. Pitas filled with delicious meat, salad and sauces, what more could you wish for? Another firm favourite is the\u00a0<em>simit &#8211;\u00a0<\/em>basically a ring-shaped bread with toasted sesame seeds &#8211; similar to the bagel.<br \/>\n<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Vietnam<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"line-height: 24px;\">A trip to Ho Chi Minh City <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span style=\"line-height: 24px;\">\u00a0is not complete without nibbling on some local treats at the well-known Ben Thanh or Binh Tay Markets. Try some divine South Eastern Asian flavours with dishes like\u00a0<em>Pho <\/em>or<em>\u00a0<\/em>noodle soups. Also have some of their corn on the cob with mayonnaise &#8211; yummy!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Belize<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In Ambergris Caye the favourite street food or perhaps I should say &#8216;dock food&#8217; is conch. The locals enjoy this as fritters or ceviche.
