This week we are going to be looking at 5 great value for money resorts in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.travelstart.co.za\/lp\/zanzibar\/flights\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Book the cheapest flights to Zanzibar\">Zanzibar<\/a>. These packages are not necessarily the cheapest, but they are the best value for money in terms of locations, inclusions and the quality of the hotel. All of the prices we are quoting are rough guidelines for per person sharing, travelling up until the 22<sup>nd<\/sup> of December 2014. The prices are for holidays including flights from Joburg, taxes, 7 nights accommodation, all meals and selected drinks, which include some alcoholic beverages.<\/p>\n<h2>Melia Hotel<\/h2>\n<p>If you are looking for great luxury, this is the best value for money hotel on the island. It is located on the northeast coast of Zanzibar, just 45 minutes away from the airport. The great Italian style resort has:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5 restaurants<\/li>\n<li>1 bars<\/li>\n<li>1 swimming pool<\/li>\n<li>Satellite TV lounge<\/li>\n<li>Library<\/li>\n<li>Spa<\/li>\n<li>Tennis court<\/li>\n<li>Fitness area<\/li>\n<li>Aqua gym<\/li>\n<li>Beach volley ball<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Prices from R13 595pp sharing<\/p>\n<h2>Double Tree by Hilton<\/h2>\n<p>The 4 star Double Tree by Hilton is located on the northern tip of the island, about one hour from the airport.<\/p>\n<p>You may think that it is unusual for there to be a Hilton on the island of Zanzibar, but this is not like any of the other city style Hiltons. It is located on the east coast of Zanzibar alongside the quite little fishing village of Uroa.
