**TRAVEL ALERT: Mango flights are temporarily suspended. They are not operating as they are in business rescue. **

  • Mango Airlines SOC Ltd (Mango) welcomed the High Court judgement delivered on Tuesday 10 August 2021 to place the company under voluntary business rescue with effect from 28 July 2021. The Board of Mango, with the support of its shareholder South African Airways SOC Ltd, took a resolution to place the low-cost airline under business rescue due to financial and operational challenges.

  • The Business Rescue Practitioner (BRP) remains of the opinion that there is a reasonable prospect of rescuing the Company, or that the BR Proceedings would result in a better outcome for Creditors and the shareholder of the Company than would otherwise be achieved should the Company be placed in liquidation.
