- The following “RULES” apply:
- The Campaign is subject to voluntary entry. Participants, by entering into this Campaign, accept the terms and agree to be bound by the rules of this Campaign.
- Duration:
- The Campaign shall commence at Midnight on 22 August 2022 and thereafter endure for a period of 30 calendar days whereafter the Campaign will automatically come to an end at Midnight on Friday, 23 September 2022 (hereinafter referred to as “the Duration”).
- Voucher code is valid for 1 month and must be redeemed between Monday, 22 August 2022 and midnight on Friday, 22 September 2022.
- For the sake of clarity, it is confirmed that entries received by the Travelstart outside the times mentioned in clause 2.2 will not be accepted as valid entries into the Campaign.
- Promoter:
- This Campaign is promoted by Travelstart Online Travel Operation (Pty) Ltd with registration number 2004/016841/07, (herein after referred to as the “Travelstart”).
- Participants:
- All participants below eighteen years of age may only enter into this Promotional Campaign with the consent and/or assistance of their parents or legal guardians.
- By entering into this Campaign in the prescribed manner, all participants agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by the Travelstart, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding.
- Travelstart reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this Campaign, any of its prizes or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Travelstart reasonably deems necessary.
- How to qualify:
- In order to qualify for the voucher, all flight and accommodation searches must be carried out at following Campaign Page The vouchers cannot be redeemed for purchase from any other affiliate, retailers or any other booking channel (other than that contained herein).
- By using the voucher code FLYPETAL for Qatar Airways International return flights the user may receive R500 off (Voucher) their Booking. By using the voucher code FLYPETALDOM for South Africa domestic return flights the user may receive R150 off (Voucher) their Booking OR STAYPETAL for accommodation deals the user may receive R200 off (Voucher) their Booking.
- By entering into this Agreement, the Participant agrees and consent to opt in to communication from Travelstart and Huawei Services (Hong Kong) Co., Limited.
- In so far as any Personal Information or contact details provided to the Travelstart, Participants must either be the legal owner of the contact details provided or have the permission of the legal owner to use such contact details to enter this Promotional Campaign. It will be an obligation on the Participant to ensure that any Personal Information provided in terms of this campaign is accurate, complete and up to date.
- Where a Participant shares Personal Information with Travelstart it is agreed that any sharing of Personal Information or contact details will be done so in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (“POPI”) as well as with the consent of such persons Parent or Legal Guardian (as a competent person) where such Participant is under the age of 18 years.
- Any use of any Personal Information will be used strictly for the purposes of this Campaign and will at all times be processed in accordance with Chapter 3 of POPI by Travelstart. Travelstart will not share any Personal Information outside the borders of the Republic of South Africa.
- Forfeiture and Disqualification:
- Any amount of a voucher not redeemed on a booking will be forfeit. The participant to this campaign understands and acknowledges that any voucher (referred to in these terms and conditions) will only be valid during the Competition Period.
- General:
- Any voucher redeemed in terms of these terms and conditions will not be redeemable for cash value.
- The Voucher’s referred to herein will only be redeemable on Qatar Airways International return flight bookings, and South Africa domestic return flights made, regardless of the cabin class
- The Participant acknowledges that the voucher may not be used in conjunction with existing specials and/or promotions run by Travelstart. For the purpose of this clause this shall include (but in no way be limited to) Travelstart Birthday specials and Black Friday specials.
- The vouchers are strictly non-transferable, non-negotiable and may not be replaced or refunded.
- The Voucher recipient shall remain responsible for paying any additional costs over and above the value of the voucher referred to herein.
- The recipient of any voucher (referred to herein) agrees that the use thereof is at all times at their own risk.
- Any queries regarding your booking must be escalated to Travelstart directly and not to Huawei Services (Hong Kong) Co. Limited.

- Travelstart reserve the right to terminate or temporarily suspend this Promotional Campaign, at its own cost, if technical or other difficulties may compromise its integrity. In this case, the Travelstart, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be held responsible for the termination or temporary suspension of the Promotional Campaign.
- Neither Travelstart (including its directors, employees, agents and consultants), and their respective advertising, media and Public Relations agencies, nor their trading partners shall be liable in any way whatsoever for any loss, damage or costs, howsoever arising, suffered by any Participant.
- Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of these Campaign rules, the decision of the Travelstart shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into further.
- These rules are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and Participants agree that this Promotional Campaign is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
- In the interest of the Consumer, Travelstart has made every reasonable effort to ensure that the rules, terms and conditions of this Promotional Campaign are in line with and subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA), particularly with section 36 of the Act.
