I asked the owner, Cecilia Theron of The Honey Badger Bistro – a fabulous new eatery in Pretoria – a couple of questions about her cute and warm restaurant:
When did you open your doors?
We opened our doors on the 8th May 2012, so we are still very new.

We are aiming to create and push a contemporary feel with elements of design in our space and in our food, which uses the freshest ingredients that we can source from local suppliers and companies in and around Pretoria.
What kind of food do you serve?
We offer a contemporary and seasonal menu, which includes breakfast, light lunches and more decedent meals.
Most likely clientele?
We are aiming to bring in young, urban and creative types of people into our Bistro, but there is also a place for ladies of leisure .
Your busiest night/day of the week is…
Saturdays are so far our busiest days, but as we are growing we want to get as many people as we can in every since day.
