24 September – Light a braai for your heritage

South Africans love their braais. They'll have it 7 days a week if at all possible (and it goes across cultures). They'll braai when it rains, the sun shines or the wind blows. South Africans need their braais like they need their sunshine – just ask the Saffas (South Africans) in London.

So anyway, 24 September is a public holiday here in South Africa, Heritage Day, so guess what we are doing tomorrow? Having a braai with friends next to the pool of course!

What is heritage day? Heritage day is there to celebrate our multicultural heritage here in South Africa.

What is a braai? A BBQ of course!

Have something to say...
