Self-described as laid-back, happy, where life is slow, Homtini guest farm on the famous garden route is an opportunity to relax with the whole family and enjoy the amazing mountain and forest views.
Homtini Guest Farm is a 90-hectare working farm nestled in the indigenous forest overlooking the Homtini Pass. It lies along the old Seven Pass Route between Knysna and George, and is adjacent to the Millwood Forest Reserve. Guests can choose from three luxury, self-catering cottages, privately situated and each with their own tree-top veranda, one Family Bungalow and four secluded tented lodges.
Guests have free use of amenities such as the sauna and swimming pool and there are wonderful biking trails nearby. There are three walking trails through 60-hectares of private indigenous forest. Aromatherapy massages are also available.
The farm is home to beautiful Nguni cattle, fresh honey and organic farm-fresh eggs. You can even pick your own vegetables from Homtini’s vegetable patch.
The neighbouring Millwood Nature Reserve is perfect for picnics, hikes and cool swims in in the spring.
Located 15 km inland from the Goukamma Nature Reserve and the Goukamma River which is great for canoeing.
Forest horse rides are also available as are short flights in a micro-light plane. You can also arrange abseiling, quad biking, paragliding, and even bungy jumping.
