Well last night we got the most awesome spot to crash at, the whimsical and zany stone cottage in Plettenberg Bay. This has just got to be one of the funkiest and well positioned places to stay in. We LOVED our time here.
Our rooms, quaintly called Leonard and Hilda opened up onto a rustic wooden deck complete with a very inviting hot-tub, cotton-reel tables and wooden chairs and of course, that stunning view of the sea, beach and beacon island!
Each room is done out in the most funky rustic decor with loads of vintage ornaments and poetic scrawls on the walls. The bedding is tasteful and the kitchenettes well-equipped. Each room has a shower en-suite and in it’s collection lies genuine Caturra coffee for that morning pick-me-up!
Don’t miss out on Greg’s hospitality with a scrumptuous R30 breakfast in the upper balcony over-looking the sea. You can choose from a yummy continental to a decadent Full-English for breakfast, all while watching the dolphins in the bay and listing to the sound of the surf breaking.
All in all, Stone Cottage has a really magical feel with a great setting and fun hospitality, it makes a great home for all who come to visit, leave your worries and pretences behind before getting there. There’s no room for that. This is a place for chilling-out, happiness and loving life! I would most definitely come back here!
