Chien Blue , the UK tour operator that specialises in travel with pets, is expanding. They have signed on the Queensberry Estate and the Trigony House Hotel, which are both located in Dumfries & Galloway in Scotland.
This tour operator is not your regular tour operator. Chien Blue specialises in putting together the perfect holiday for pet loving travellers who can’t part with their four footed friends. It was set up by the owner of Blue, a dog, who spent hours and hours looking for accommodation that allowed her to bring her canine companion with her and found that was not an easy task. Thinking that it would be terribly convenient to have a tour operator do the searching for her and thinking there might be other travellers just like her, she started her own tour operator and voilà, Chien Blue was born.
Chien Blue puts together tailor made holidays for the traveller and his or her dog and there is no booking fee. They have all kinds of quality places to stay at in their portfolio. Rustic cottages or city hotels, whatever is your cup of tea, they will make sure to find a place that will welcome you and your pet.
Every pet owner will recognise this; you want to be happy about your holiday, but you dread the moment you have to say goodbye to your pet at the kennel. Whether you put your fluffy friend up in a luxurious pet hotel, or have him/her stay at home and looked after by a professional pet sitter, it’s never a pet owner’s favourite holiday moment. I for one, love this pet friendly tour op.
There is one down side to this company though. Chien Blue does only offer accommodation in the UK. But who knows? They might perhaps expand into other slightly more exotic countries in the not so far future. Keep your paws crossed!
