    Thanks for getting in touch and sharing your feedback which we always appreciate.

    With domestic flights seating is not an option I’m afraid. For this you will need to do seating 24 hours prior to departure when the airlines open up for online check-in.

    For International travel, we do offer a product called Travel Assist. If this is taken at the time of booking we are able to assist with pre-seating, special meal requests, wheelchair assistance and adding ones frequent flyer number if needed.

    Your passport needs to be valid for 6 months from dates of return (the day you arrive back in South Africa from your trip)

    However my passport expires 9th March 2020 which is exactly 6 months from date of arrival in turkey. Is it suitable to travel?

    Pre-seating is never a guarantee. Some airlines charge for pre-seating, this way you can select your preferred seat, subject to availability.

    We do offer the travel assist package, where we can assist with pre-seating on some airlines. However again, seating is never a guarantee if there is an aircraft change etc

    Please keep in mind emergency exit seats and bassinet seats are blocked off by the airline.

  21. I am about to book a ticket to the US (on travelstart) – probably on a codeshare – where the actual airline is United Airlines or managed by United Airlines but codeshare on SAA or Lufthansa.

    Either way there seems to be united Airlines involved.. From what I have read they pre-allocate seats at booking and those CANT be changed (maybe only on basic economy) – not sure if you book on standard economy or basic economy.

    Either way – how do I do everything I can to ensure i don’t get allocated a bad seat.

    The return flight are 3 legs each…

    With regards to visa’s please contact the Embassy direct. As they are granting the visa’s they will advise you if a transit visa is required or not.

    The booking number you provided was incorrect. I did a search using your e-mail address and located your booking: ZA06154898

    Your checked baggage allowance is 30kgs per person and carry on luggage 7kgs. Each liquid you carry like eye contact solution or toothpaste must be in its own container of no more than 100ml

    Liquids include toiletries such as shampoo, after-shave, hand or body lotion, mouthwash and liquid makeup.

    Have a safe flight and enjoy your vacation in the Philippines.

Want to know do i need chinese visa at stop over or just my passport.? Also i need to know what i can take with me on our trip since this is my first trip overseas..     To my knowledge they look at the passport you travelling on. I don’t think the work visa will allow you to transit through the UK.

    However to receive the most up to date information I would recommend you contact the Embassy direct as they are the ones who are granting the visa’s and would be able to provide you with the most up to date information.

    Very interesting question.

    If you SA passport details are not the same as your EU or UK, I would think you would book in the name of the passport you are flying out on.

    However you would need a document confirming why the 2nd passport is not in the same name as your SA passport. Example a marriage certificate.

    I do strongly recommend though that you contact the airline you are wanting to travel on, as they will provide you with the most up to date information on the correct procedures to follow before you book.

    This depends on what airline you flying and if it’s a domestic or international flight.

    Some airline you can book seating prior to departure and other airlines you need to contact them direct and pay for pre-seating.

    If you are wanting to add 2 children onto a booking where the tickets have already been issued, you would need to contact the airline direct and provide them with your airline booking number. They will have access to your booking and be able to assist in creating a new booking for both children and linking it to your booking so they can see all 3 of you will be travelling together.
