Fly To Bismarck, North Dakota
Stretching along the Missouri River, Bismarck is the capital of North Dakota, and the most distinct city in the state. Known for its greenery and recreation areas, the city boasts 930ha of public parks, making it a great place for walking, running, cycling and, of course, picnicking. Bismarck also has a very extensive network of exercise trails and public swimming pools, perfect for visiting in summer.

The 19-story Art Deco capitol is the tallest building in the state and a beautiful site to explore. Here you will find many historical and cultural institutions including the State Supreme Court, the State Library and the Liberty Memorial. Continue your tour of classic buildings at Belle Mehus Auditorium, dating back to 1914. This is also the city’s hub for the arts and specifically the Bismarck-Mandan Symphony Orchestra.
Many theatre groups are based in the city of Bismarck, including the Capitol Shakespeare Society and Sleepy Hollow Summer Theatre. A night at the theatre is therefore a brilliant treat.
If you’re travelling with the children then the Dakota Zoo and the Super Slide amusement park are both great ways to keep them entertained and have some fun yourself. On the other side of the outdoor activity spectrum are hunting and fishing, two much-loved sports in Bismarck.

Bismarck Airport (code BIS) is conveniently located just 6km from the city centre and mainly serves domestic flights in the States on Allegiant Air, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines and United. Free Wi-Fi offered to passengers throughout the main terminal.
