Lift uses a fleet of 4th generation Airbus A320 aircraft operated by Global Aviation (Pty) LTD t\a Global Airways. Cabins are kitted out with LED mood lighting offering a relaxed atmosphere, with spacious seats.

FLEXI - Includes bag (7kg hand baggage and 1 piece of checked baggage up to 23kg)
All flights include 1 piece of hand baggage that weighs no more than 7kg and may not exceed the following dimensions: 56cm x 36cm x 23cm.
Checked baggage can be purchased when you book or after, but prices may differ. Checked baggage purchased at the airport will incur a fee of R150 per bag.
A checked bag may weigh up to 23kg and must not exceed the following dimensions: 90cm x 75cm x 43cm. Checked bags may not weigh more than 32kg.
Baggage costs and restrictions apply to adults, children and infants. Parents flying with an infant may check in 2 additional pieces of luggage for free (e.g. car seat and stroller).
Sport equipment and bicycles must be checked in.
LIFT’s aircrafts are SACAA and IATA approved, sanitised and cleaned after every flight.
• All passengers and staff are required to wear face masks and maintain social distancing during the flight.
• Temperature screening will be taken at the airport terminals. Anyone with a temperature of 37.5°C and higher will be denied entry and taken for further screening.
• All surfaces like security trays, check-in stations, tray tables and screens are meticulously sanitised before every flight.
•All passengers are encouraged to check in and buy extra products or services online to avoid unnecessary contact during the airport process.
•LIFT encourages passengers to scan their boarding passes themselves to avoid unnecessary contact during boarding.
• Onboard HEPA filters extract more than 99% of air particles, including viruses and bacteria.
LIFT’s online check-in opens 2 hours before departure.
Due to COVID-19 screening protocols‚ it is recommended that all travellers arrive at the airport at least 120 minutes (2 hours) before their flight departure. Check-in strictly closes 45 minutes before departure time.
Boarding closes 15 minutes before departure. Any travellers who do not check in or board their flight within the allocated time frame will forfeit their ticket and seat.
LIFT understands the importance of serving quality refreshments to their passengers. They have teamed up with Vida e Caffè to offer you fresh, hot coffee on board. If you’re catching an afternoon flight, you can sit back, relax and enjoy a G&T or wines from top South African wine estates.
LIFT offers light snacks and beverages at no extra charge. Please note that all onboard catering on domestic flights has been suspended, due to current Covid-19 health regulations. However, LIFT passengers can enjoy a FREE solo cappuccino before flying by presenting your boarding pass at Vida e Caffè.
The A320 offers the widest cabin in the narrow-bodied aircraft market, and with their extra legroom seats, LIFT passengers are guaranteed comfort onboard. Certain seat selections carry an extra charge, such as seats with additional legroom and exit seats.
Emotional support and services animals are allowed onboard free of charge and the airline must be notified at least 48 hours before flight departure.
