How do I know this is legit?

Great question. All our host families, hiring companies, and camps are thoroughly screened, so you’re never just sent off into the unknown. Plus, you can chat to past students, check our socials, Google reviews or pop by our office if you’re still unsure.

What passports can I apply with?

We only accept applications from South African passport holders, including dual citizens. If you’ve got a SA passport (on its own or alongside another), you’re good to go.

Do I need to speak another language?

Nope, just solid English! That said, learning a few local phrases is always a flex and a fun way to connect with people while you’re there.

How do I sign up?

Head to our website and apply there. If you meet the requirements for our experiences, our coordinators will reach out to you and get the ball rolling.

Do I need a passport and license to apply?

No, you can still apply while you wait for these documents. It’s best to secure your spot, and the rest can happen after.

Is there an age limit to your experiences?

Yep, ages vary a bit depending on which adventure you pick:

  • Au Pairing: 18–28
  • USA Ski Season: 21–26
  • USA Summer Camp: 18–26
