Travelstart Voucher Types, How to Get Them and How to Redeem Them

Travelstart vouchers may be issued as Travelbar gift vouchers or as marketing and promotional vouchers. The way you receive and redeem your voucher depends on the type and the conditions included with it.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are purchased through the Travelbar team as a gift for someone else, or for a future trip. They can be bought for any amount from R100, with no maximum value.

To buy a gift voucher, fill out the order form or contact the Travebar team at 021 468 4321. They can help you choose the voucher value and arrange the purchase.

Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed online. To use one, contact the Travelbar team with your voucher code ready. An agent will help you choose and book an eligible travel product. Any unused balance may be used towards a future eligible booking. Vouchers cannot be topped up, but you are welcome to buy another voucher.

Marketing and Promotional Vouchers

Marketing and promotional vouchers may be issued by Travelstart as part of a competition, campaign, partnership, customer offer or other promotion. These vouchers are not purchased as Travelbar gift vouchers.

The voucher communication will explain how it can be used, including its validity period, eligible travel products, booking conditions and whether it can be redeemed online.

Some promotional vouchers can be entered online during the booking process. If your voucher does not specifically state that online redemption is available, please contact the team named in the voucher terms for assistance.
