Best time to visit Dubrovnik

September to October (the first months of autumn) is the best time to visit, with warm and pleasant weather. The same goes for the waters, making it a superb time to come if your holiday plans include the beach. Adding to this is the fact the crowds will be gone and hotel rates drop. November to April (late autumn through winter to early spring) is low season with cold waters and less crowds. Most hotels close during this period, so you would have to look longer than usual for accommodation. The summer months of June to August are peak tourist season, bringing the crowds and the high hotel rates. Let Travelstart assist you in getting your dream holiday underway.

Visa & Customs

South African passport holders will need a Schengen visa to visit Dubrovnik, or anywhere else in Croatia.
