Best time to visit Lomé

In Tomé, the summer season brings more rain than the winter. Before travelling to Lomé, it would be wise to get vaccinations for hepatitis A, tetanus, typhoid and meningitis.

Beware of pickpockets around the Rue du Grand Marché and along Rue du Commerce. Refrain from walking on the beach alone, especially at night.
