With plenty of sunshine, almost all year round, Nampula rarely gets cold. The standard temperature is 28 degrees Celsius, and the weather along the coast is sunny and warm, even in mid-winter. The rainy season is from November to April, however it can get very humid and hot in these months. Only a few spells of rain occur during the months of April to May, and is even more infrequent during June through to November.
