Best time to visit Yiwu

The best time to go to Yiwu is during the summer (July – August). The temperature may reach the mid-30s, but there will be less tourists, guaranteeing you more availability and cheaper hotel rates. Make sure to bring light clothing, a hat and plenty of sunscreen. Another good time to visit to ensure you get more availability is from January to February (winter), although the temperature during January can descend to 2°C. If you visit during this time, you’d better pack thicker clothing. The periods during other parts of the year are when fairs, markets and shows take place, which draw the highest volume of tourists. This will, of course, reduce availability and cause hotel rates to rise.
