Kiribati experiences a tropical climate with hot temperatures all year long. Between the months of November and February, the island nation gets extremely humid and hot, accompanied by lots of rain. Kiribati is a safe country to visit, though it is recommended to practice caution, especially when travelling alone in the evenings. Bars are known to get rowdy and sometimes lead to fist fights. Also, the roads get quite packed so please be careful when passing through them. The people of Kiribati are, however, known to be very warm-hearted and friendly.
