See and do
Part of the charm of visiting Belgorod is the fact that it’s seldom visited by tourists, so you can enjoy an authentic experience of what life is like in a Russian town. The biggest attraction in the area is the site where the Battle of Kursk was fought in the Second World War, which was actually one of the most significant battles during the war. There is a museum dedicated to this battle in the city of Belgorod, but the majority of sites regarding the battle are located a little further afield, in the nearby town of Prokhorovka.
