Fly To Muenster, Germany
Muenster will let you fall in love with cycling, fresh air and a culture that spends as much time as possible enjoying the outdoors. Known as ‘the bicycle city’, Muenster boasts about 500 000 bicycles and has a separate cycling lane on most of its roads.
But that is not the only reason why Muenster is worth a visit. During WWII, the town was almost completely destroyed, but instead of rebuilding it in a more modern way, an exact replica of the town’s medieval center was created. You wouldn’t believe that the buildings in the Altstadt (old town) date back only 70 years!
Muenster is also a prominent university city, with about 50 000 students calling it home. It’s a perfect place to feel young at heart again, breathing in the clean air, spending hours at quaint cafes and coffee shops, and admiring the very significant historical architecture.
