Best time to visit Comoros

Comoros is characterized by its tropical climate, governed by its wet and dry season. You will find the rather wet and monsoon-like weather between the months of January and April, when it is also most humid. The weather is great for visiting between May and November, with hot temperatures and less rain. Average temperatures in the dry season range between 18°C and 28°C during the dry season

Comoros enjoys a low level of crime on its islands. However, you should always be aware of your surroundings and so visitors are advised to do so. Make sure to not walk alone at night and to keep your important documents locked up in the hotel safe.

It is important to have your vaccinations up to date when travelling abroad. There are no compulsory vaccines needed for your trip to Comoros, but it is recommended to get a shot for typhoid, malaria and hepatitis A. Other vaccines to consider include those for hepatitis B and rabies.
