You will require a South African ID card or passport to fly from Cape Town to Johannesburg.
From the OR Tambo International Airport, it takes 20 minutes to drive to the city centre of Johannesburg, while from Lanseria International Airport, it takes 50 minutes, but be sure to factor in possible traffic delays. Please ensure you arrive at the airport 90 minutes prior to your local flight. The minimum check-in time is 45 minutes prior to departure for local flights.
