New UK Travel Requirement: Do You Need an ETA?

Starting 2 April 2025, travellers from certain countries - including the EU, USA, Canada, and Australia - will need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before entering the UK. This is a big change, especially for South Africans with dual citizenship who use a second passport to visit the UK visa-free.
