Purpose of the role

The purpose of this role is to create travel entrepreneurs, through supporting signed up agents, to become transactional. The role includes contacting agents on a regular basis to obtain feedback from them, as well as assisting agents with any issues or queries they may have regarding the system or their bookings.

The role will involve (but not limited to):

    (An overview, but is not limited to the full function of the role)

  • Assist clients/agents with queries and reissues.
  • Assist clients/agents with offline bookings if they are unable to book online themselves.
  • Follow finance processes with regards to payments, pay outs, and invoicing.
  • Drive revenue generation to exceed set targets.
  • Work with and apply airline rules on both international and domestic carriers to avoid ADM’s/errors.

Experience

  • National Senior Certificate.
  • National Diploma in Travel and Tourism or related qualification.
  • Minimum 2-year leisure travel consulting experience.
  • GDS Knowledge in Amadeus (preferably) and/or Galileo.
  • Strong geography, destination, and product knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literate with MS Office and or G-Suite.
  • Good sales skills.
  • Flexible and adaptive to change.
  • Ability to excel under pressure.
  • Discretion and awareness of confidentiality.
