Hand Luggage

Carry-on bags must weigh 7kg or less and fit in the overhead lockers.

Checked Baggage

Checked bags must not weigh more than 23 KG Dimensions: 90 x 75 x 43cm

Safety Measures:

• All passengers and staff must wear face masks during the flight.
• All surfaces like security trays, check-in stations, tray tables and screens are meticulously sanitised before every flight.
• Customers are advised to download their boarding passes to avoid queues.
• Onboard HEPA filters extract more than 99% of air particles, including viruses and bacteria.
• Travellers will be required to scan their own boarding pass and hold up their passports for inspection.

To make airport check-in stress-free:

Domestic Flights - Check-in closes 40 minutes before departure International Flights - Check-in closes an hour before departure.

Please make sure you arrive at the airport on time.

Pre-booking seats

You can choose a seat during flight booking and have an option for extra legroom should you wish. Payment is by credit card, and seats are limited, so book early. If you don’t pre-book, your seat will be assigned at check-in.

Unaccompanied Minors

FlySafair offers an unaccompanied minors service for kids under 12, ensuring your child gets the best care from check-in to arrival. The service costs R750, but it must be booked on the FlySafair website, at least 48 hours before departure.

Pets

Unfortunately, FlySafair doesn’t allow pets on their flights.
