Expectations

  • Servicing clients via phone and email within a designated time frame
  • Monitoring bookings that have been placed on the amendments queue
  • Offering clients options to reservations (eg finding alternative flights/dates etc)
  • Working with and applying airline rules on both international and domestic carriers
  • Updating bookings with changes after confirming with client and sending out updated information
  • Processing payment
  • Close cooperation with suppliers in order to find best solution for clients
  • Maintaining good and improving existing or initiating new relationships with suppliers
  • Providing excellent customer service adhering to quality and quantity standards as specified by Travelstart

Skills Requirements

  • Efficient working knowledge of Amadeus (or other GDS)
  • Thorough understanding of airlines rules and regulations
  • Minimum 2 years travel experience (minimum 1 year working in fares)
