Content Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement content plans for each market
  • Manage editorial calendar
  • Copywriting for daily marketing communications
  • Ensure copy for marketing materials is correct (QC)
  • Ensure content is optimised for each channels performance
  • Ensure content is optimised for SEO and follows best practice
  • Foster creativity, encourage team to try new things, come up with witty content, and promote Travel Start in new and exciting ways
  • Promote different content pillars across various channels
  • Understand different writing styles for each market and assist in identifying target consumers for who the content is aimed at
  • Ensure landing pages are up to date and optimised
  • Work with multi-disciplinary teams, including Product, UX, Ops, Performance and Supply to ensure copy is on brand and follows the style guide
  • Produce content for various campaigns and initiatives
  • Ensure website content is loaded in good time, removed on time and always up to date
  • Manage the delegation and quality of article on the blog and establish Travelstart as a leader in it’s industry
  • Track content performance
  • Conduct monthly 1-on-1 sessions with team members

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • ATL, BLT & TTL Copywriting
  • Long-form content writing – blogs, press releases, web pages
  • Understanding of social media platforms for content marketing
  • Google Suite, Google Analytics, Asana
  • SEO tools: Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, SEO Monitor/ SEMrush
  • Google My Business
  • Copy editing & line editing
