Why can’t I see a particular payment method?

Available payment methods may vary depending on your location, device, currency, booking details and total amount. For bookings made within 48 hours of departure, EFT, Google Pay and Apple Pay will not be available as payment options.

Is it safe to pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay?

Yes. Both Google Pay and Apple Pay uses tokenisation, which means your card details are not shared directly with Travelstart. Payments are securely authorised using your device.

How long do refunds take?

Refund times depend on the payment method or wallet used.

What should I do if my payment doesn’t work?

For some payment methods, we secure your seat even if the payment itself doesn’t go through. If this happens, you’ll still land on the booking confirmation screen, but you’ll see a “Payment Failed” message.
Don’t worry, your booking isn’t lost. You’ll receive a booking confirmation email with a payment link, so you can complete the payment by card or via bank transfer.
