How to book?

Step 1

Book and pay in full for an Emirates-operated flight to Dubai or any other destinations in the Emirates network with a minimum stop in Dubai for 24 hours within the travel period either on the Travelstart website, app or with our live agents on travelhub@travelstart.com. The offer is only valid for new bookings made/ticketed 1 - 21 July 2024. Departures must be between 4 July – 15 September 2024 from South Africa or other eligible African countries.

Step 2

Once your ticket has been issued please send an email to EmiratesOffer@emirates.com containing:

The airline reference number
Passenger names (only passengers on the booking above will be booked)
Arrival date in Dubai
Your contact number
Your email address to receive the hotel confirmation.

Step 3

When booking with a live Travelstart agent - please advise that you want to book the free hotel offer. You will receive your hotel voucher within 96 hours directly from Emirates. Passengers are responsible for organising the required travel or visa documents to fulfil individual entry criteria to Dubai or any other origin/destination at their own cost.

By sending the email you consent to Emirates sharing the necessary personal details with the hotel partner - solely to make the hotel reservation. Please note, South African passport holders require visas for Dubai. Please e-mail VFS Global to apply for a 48-hour Dubai visa, the promotional visa cost is R180 per person

A 24-hour check-in and check-out policy applies. Check-in time begins from the Dubai scheduled flight arrival time of the booking. For example, arrivals at 4:00 am will have access to the hotel room and facilities for 24 hours from the flight arrival time.
Offer is valid for children only when accompanied by at least one adult who is 18 years old or above. Proof of age may be required at check-in.
Guests may be required to provide a credit card at check-in to the hotel.

Offer Excludes:

All meals.
Meet and assist at the airport, return airport-hotel transportation, PCR test or visa charges.
Emirates is not responsible for any additional room charges, incidentals, mini bar, etc. All additional charges will be the responsibility of the passenger.
