Airline Check-in Guide

Ready to check in? Then you have come to the right place. Whether it’s your first time flying or you’ve accumulated frequent flyer miles, we’ve got the essential check-in information geared for you!

Online Check-in

Experience the convenience of checking in online by simply choosing the airline that you are flying with from our list, and you will be taken directly to that airline’s check-in page. Please be advised that not all airlines offer online check-in. Airlines that offer the ability to do so will generally open 24 hours ahead of the flight’s departure.

Online check-in will remain open up to 90 minutes before domestic departure and two hours before international departure.

When checking in online, make sure that you print out your boarding pass, or get it from a self-service kiosk at the airport;
depending on the airline.

Airport Check-in

Having all the necessary documents with you will certainly smooth up the check-in process. Before leaving for the airport, ensure that you have your driver’s license or green ID book/Smart ID card (for domestic flights only) and passport with you. It is advised to print out your flight itinerary ahead of time.

For domestic flights, you are encouraged to be at the airport between 60 and 90 minutes before your plane departs. All check-ins, which includes yourself and your baggage, will close 40 minutes before the plane takes flight.

In the event of flying with Mango Airlines, and you booked your flight with a credit card, remember that you may have to present it at the check-in kiosk. You will then be given your boarding pass and will be allowed to proceed to the security checkpoint.

International flights require you to arrive at the airport at least two or two and a half hours before your flight departs. Flights to anywhere in the USA requires you to be at the airport three hours before departure. Most importantly, do not forget to bring your passport and visa (if applicable)!

Proceed to the appropriate check-in kiosk and follow through with the process, which will provide you with your boarding pass and allow you to check in your luggage.

With all international flights and relevant visas, as expected, the check-in process may require that you have additional documents, including the ability to prove that you intend to return home by showing a valid return ticket. By ensuring that you have the necessary documents printed, your international flight check-in process should be a breeze

We’re sure this guideline has got you ready to check in, thoroughly prepared and set to jet off to your destination.

Now that you’re equipped to make your journey through the airport with all the check-in angst removed,
