- Once your ticket is issued please complete the Booking form and email it with your ZA reference number to tkstopover@travelstart.com.
- We will send your booking form to Turkish Airlines to book your hotel and will send your hotel voucher to you via email once we receive it.
- On arrival in Istanbul you need to make your own way to the hotel where you will need to produce your voucher at check-in. You can check in on arrival.
- When travelling in Economy Class with a stopover in Istanbul of 20 hours or longer - you get 1 nights’ complimentary accommodation at a 4-star hotel (Old Town) including breakfast.

- If stopover lasts more than 24 hours, the passenger should collect his luggage upon arrival in Istanbul. Make sure that your bag is tagged to Istanbul when you check-in in South Africa
- The stopover programme needs to be pre-booked no later than 72 hours prior to departure.

- You can extend the accommodation at your own expense, at a discounted rate. Once Stopover is confirmed and the hotel voucher has been emailed to you, you can email the hotel directly to book the extended stay. The hotel will then send you a link and promo code.
