Terms and conditions

Prize consists of one Travelstart flight gift voucher worth R15,000 and one Decofurn Furniture gift voucher worth R15,000.
Prize Excludes:
Any costs associated with obtaining a valid travel Visa/updating your passport if required.
Any items of a personal nature including meals, spending money, travel insurance, add-ons, and all other incidentals not specifically recorded in the prize.

This competition runs from (00h00) Wednesday, 10 July 2019 to midnight on Wednesday, 24 July 2019 (“closing date”)
The promoters are Furniture Force (Pty) Ltd (“Decofurn Furniture”) and Travelstart Online Travel Operations Pty LTD(“Travelstart”) together referred to as the “Promoter(s)”
This competition is open to all residents of the Republic of South Africa who are in possession of a valid identity document as well as a valid Passport enabling them to travel. Entrants must reside with the Republic of South Africa. The following are excluded from entering:
3.1 a director, member, partner, spouse, life partner, immediate family member, employee or agent of, or consultant to the promoters or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by, the Promoters; or
3.2 a director, member, partner, spouse, life partner, immediate family member, employee or agent of, or consultant to the supplier of goods or services in connection with the competition.
3.3 anyone who within a period of 183 days preceding this competition has won any competition organised, promoted, or conducted by Promoters, or who resides at the same address as such a winner, or who uses the same email address to enter this competition.
To enter and stand a chance to win, a participant must be 18 years old at the date of entry.

1 winner will be selected using a randomiser tool on the 25th or the 26th July 2019 and contacted directly by the Promoters or an agent nominated by the Promoter.
The winners will be notified on the contact details provided to the Promoter. If the Promoter(s), or its nominated agent is, unable to contact the winner within 5 business days of the random selection by the Randomiser tool, then the winner will forfeit the prize. Promoter(s) reserves the right to select a new winner at its sole discretion without further communication.
The prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. Should the winner be unable to travel or comply with the required terms they will be disqualified, and a new winner may be selected in their place.
The prize is strictly non-transferable, non-negotiable and may not be replaced or refunded.
Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and agreed to be bound by them when entering. These rules are legal and binding upon entrants.
It is the winner’s responsibility to ensure that any information provided to Promoters is accurate, complete and up to date.
By entering and participating in this competition, you consent to opting in to communications from Travelstart and Decofurn Furniture as well as publishing any and/or all entrants’ photos and content submitted.
Except in so far as is provided for in the Act 68 of 2008, the judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Decofurn Furniture and Travelstart reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations which you may have against Travelstart and Decofurn Furniture and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against both brands.
You will be required to provide your full name, email address and other related information when entering this Competition. The Promoter(s) and its affiliates will collect and use your personal data listed herein in order to enable your participation in this Competition and for related online activities. Your personal data will be used to enter you in this Competition and for the Promoter’s, its affiliates and subsidiaries’ marketing purposes and, by participating in the Competition, you consent to the transfer, storage and processing of the data in South Africa and any other affiliated country in which the Promoter conducts in business, which consent may be withdrawn at any time by written notification to the Promoter. We keep your personal data to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws or regulations. We will not use your personal data for a different purpose without first obtaining your permission.
All entrants indemnify the Promoter(s), its advertising agencies, advisers, suppliers, and nominated agents against any and all claims, damages or losses resulting from their participation in this Competition or in the participation or collection of prizes or at the event and irrespective of how such loss, damage or claim may have arisen, including where such damage, loss, or claim has arisen from the negligent acts, omissions and/or willful default of the Promoter.
The Promoter(s) assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries. Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Promoter on account of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to Entrant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Competition or downloading any materials in this Competition.
You can choose to be excluded from direct marketing by notifying Travelstart and Decofurn Furniture in writing or by registering a block on any registry which both brands are bound by law to recognise. The Promoters will not charge you a fee to update this request on its systems. The promoters will give effect to any changes requested by you as soon as reasonably possible.
As an act of goodwill to our sponsors, we’d like to ask that you please share 3-4 posts of your travels on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, tagging Decofurn Furniture and Travelstart. Include the relevant handles for each social media page.
