Performance Marketing Executive or Manager

Travelstart is looking for a performance marketing (manager or executive) to help drive user growth through Paid Media Channels. As a member of the Performance marketing Team, you’ll be responsible for helping build and manage campaigns across a variety of digital channels, working with cross functional teams to support Travelstart’ brands and verticals.

This is an excellent role for candidates that have 3+ years of relevant experience and are excited about using their skills alongside a strong marketing team to build one of the strongest brands in Africa and The Middle East Travel space.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Help support acquisition campaigns on offline and online channels including Search, Display, Mobile
  • Manage Social Media advertising using performance goals that drive new user adoption
  • Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of reports, budgets, campaign performance, ROI, LTV, and other channel metrics.
  • Use a process of testing to prove hypotheses and recommend performance optimizations
  • Use a data driven approach to manage campaigns and derive insights on strategy and performance.
  • Help support weekly and monthly reporting of channel metrics, goals, and other KPI’s.
  • Monitor web analytics dashboards and key reporting tools, pointing out key areas of importance
  • Communicate weekly updates, progress reports, timelines, and results.
  • Write creative briefs to define program objectives and KPIs, optimizing campaigns to maximize ROI.
  • Work closely with the other teams and stakeholders to ensure acquisition goals are met.

Qualifications

You Have:

  • A Passion for Marketing. You stay up to date on the travel industry, platforms and changes as they roll out
  • A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 3+ years of related digital and/or Social Media Advertising experienceA strong grasp of Web Analytics, A/B Testing, and metrics driven (performance) marketingStrong analytical ability
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
  • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.An energetic and willing attitude
  • The ability to synthesize complex ideas into actionable recommendations for senior executives
  • A hungry, infectious personality: we’re looking for someone determined and able to win

Bonus

  • Deep Understanding of Adwords & Facebook
  • Experience with Web Tracking and Attribution
  • Offline Marketing experience
