Travelstart is looking for a Performance Marketing Executive to help drive user growth through
Paid Media channels. As a member of the Performance Marketing Team, you’ll be responsible for
building and managing campaigns across a variety of digital channels, working with
cross-functional teams to support Travelstart’ brands and verticals.
This is an excellent role for candidates that have 3+ years of relevant experience and are
excited about using their skills alongside a strong marketing team to build one of the strongest
brands in the African Travel space.
Responsibilities
You will:
- Help support user acquisition campaigns on online and offline channels including Search, YouTube, Display, Programmatic.
- Manage Paid Social advertising using performance goals that drive new user adoption.
- Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of reports, budgets, campaign performance, ROAS,
LTV, and other channel metrics.
- Use a process of continuous A/B testing to prove hypotheses and recommend performance
optimisations.
- Use a data-driven approach to manage campaigns and derive insights on strategy and
performance.
- Help support weekly and monthly reporting of channel metrics, goals, and other KPI’s.
- Monitor web analytics dashboards and key reporting tools, pointing out key areas of
importance.
- Communicate weekly updates, progress reports, timelines, and results.
- Write creative briefs to define program objectives and KPIs, optimising campaigns to
maximise ROAS.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimise user experience.
- Work closely with the other teams and stakeholders to ensure user acquisition goals are
met.
Requirements / Key Skills
You Have:
- A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven working experience in digital marketing and advertising of at least 3
years;
- A Passion for Marketing. You stay up to date on the travel industry, platforms and
changes as they roll out.
- Deep understanding of Google ADS, Google Display Network (GDN), Search ADS 360, DV360.
- Hands-on knowledge of Facebook Business Manager.
- A strong grasp of Web/App Analytics & Attribution, A/B Testing, and metrics-driven
(performance) marketing.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Outstanding ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems.
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven
environment.
- High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
- An energetic and willing attitude.
- The ability to synthesize complex ideas into actionable recommendations for senior
executives.
