We are a new, well-funded fintech in the travel space and work closely with the TravelLab group(Travelstart, ClubTravel, SafariNow, NightsBridge)
We are building a variety of B2B and B2C fintech offerings to make payments in travel more seamless.We have partnered with some of the largest financial institutions in Africa and the world to build big things.
We are a remote-first company and we’re looking for someone to join the core development team and build something great

Jon Description : Remote QA Engineer
- 2-5 Years’ Experience In Software Quality Assurance Functions, Including
- Thorough understanding of databases, APIs, web applications, mobile applications and source
control systems such as Git.
- Test case and test script development.
- Test planning and large-scale regression test planning and execution.
- Executing automated test strategies.
- 3+ years formal testing experience
- 2+ Test Automation Engineering experience
- 1 year Cloud exposure (Amazon, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- 1 year Microservices exposure
- 1 year DevOps, CI/CD exposure

- QA Tooling: Postman, Swagger
- Frontend: React, React Native
- Backend: Python and Java
- Data: PostgreSQL & Google BigQuery
- Infra: Google Cloud Platform
- Tools: Jira, Confluence, Git
- Automation: Selenium, Cucumber
Responsibilities: Front-end (UI) and Back-end Testing
- Manual Testing: Front-end and API/Back-end testing
- Automated Testing: Use your preferred tools to automate testing
- Security Testing: Performance testing
- Contribute in the development lifecycle as a member of a squad / multiple squads as an QA automation
specialist engineer
- Work with the Development and Product teams to develop test cases, based on specifications.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and develop automation test plans.
- Prepare QA & Automation testing documentation (planning, design, execution and sustainability).
- Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases for the
different products to ensure development outputs meet acceptance criteria, technical specifications,
and product goals.
- Evaluate automated test cases, analyse and report results.
- Evaluate issues and bugs; evaluate, record, track, test and report results.
- The role will be remotely based in Mauritius and office hours will be within South African time (GMT +2
hours).
- You will report to the CTO of Glyde Payments.
