BY ENTERING THE COMPETITION, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES.

• This Competition is promoted by TRAVELSTART ONLINE TRAVEL OPERATIONS (Pty) Ltd
• The Prize consists of 2x (two) Economy class return tickets from Johannesburg to Mauritius, plus a R10,000 Travelstart Hotels voucher.
• The Competition is valid from 1 February 2023 to 28 February 2023

The Prize will only be valid for use during the following periods:

• 1 March 2023 up to and including 23 March 2023;
• 16 April 2023 up to and including 21 June 2023;
• 18 July 2023 up to and including 21 September 2023; and
• 10 October 2023 up to and including 7 December 2023.

• The Competition is subject to voluntary entry. Participants, by entering into this Competition, accept the terms and agree to be bound by the rules of this Competition.
• To qualify for the Prize, a Participant will be required to have made a booking through the Promoter’s website for an International Flight to the value of no less than R6,000.00 (SIX THOUSAND), with such booking having been completed between 1 February 2023 and 28 February 2023
• All participants below eighteen years of age may only enter into this Competition with the consent and/or assistance of their parents or legal guardians.
• By entering into this Competition in the prescribed manner, all participants agree to be bound by these rules which will be interpreted by the Promoter, whose decision regarding any dispute will be final and binding.
• The Promoter reserves the right to amend, modify, change, postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition, any of its prizes or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which the Promoter reasonably deems necessary.
• The Prize will not be redeemable outside the dates mentioned above.

• The Prize is neither transferable nor redeemable for cash and will be subject to the travel dates mentioned in clause 6.2 (above). In addition to the above, the Prize can only be used on Air-Mauritius operated flights and will exclude any Codeshare or Star Alliance Partner Flights. No re-routing or changes to the tickets will be permitted once the tickets (for the prize) have been issued.
• Any voluntary changes made by the winner of this Promotion and/or their nominated guest, that results in any additional charge being incurred, will be for the winning Participants expense.
• The Winning Participant and nominated Guest will be responsible for paying all additional costs associated with the Prize that is not specifically included in these terms and conditions. For the sake of clarity in this regard, this shall include (but in no way be limited to) insurance, spending money, visa costs, passport costs, additional accommodation fees (not set out in these terms and conditions) and/or any other meal and drink costs (which are not included), changes, add-ons and other incidentals.
• The winning Participant and their nominated Guest need to fly together at all times throughout the booking.
• The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with any other prize/s of comparable commercial value.
• The Prize may be subject to availability at the time of booking.
• In so far as any Personal Information or contact details provided to the Promoter, Participants must either be the legal owner of the contact details provided or have the permission of the legal owner to use such contact details to enter this Promotional Competition.
• Where such Participant is under the age of 18, it is agreed that any sharing of Personal Information or contact details is done so in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (“POPI”) as well as with the consent of such persons Parent or Legal Guardian (as a competent person).
• Any use of any Personal Information will be used strictly for the purposes of this promotion and will at all times be processed in accordance with Chapter 3 of POPI by the Promoter.

• At the end of the Competition Period, the winning participant will be selected at random.
• The Promoter’s decision will be final and not subject to any review or discussion.
• The Winner will be notified by means of the contact details provided to the Promoter. Should the Promoter be unable to contact the winning Participant within seven working days (from the date of the draw of the winner), such winning Participant will forfeit the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right to re-draw a new winner under the same conditions as contained herein.
• It will be the responsibility of the Participants to ensure that any information (whether Personal Information or otherwise) provided to the Promoter is accurate, complete and up to date. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss associated with any incorrect or inaccurate information provided by a Participant.
• The successful Participant may be required to take part in various forms of publicity, which may include the taking and publishing of photographs.
• Participation in the Promotional Competition is conditional upon the successful Participant’s consent to take part in such publicity, which consent Participant will be able to withdraw at any time should he/she wish to do so.
• Successful Participants will not be entitled to any payment or other form of remuneration for any publicity associated with this Promotional Competition or with the Promoter’s business.
• All and any materials, including publicity materials, related to this Promotional Competition and/or the Promoter’s business will be the sole property of the Promoter.
• The Promoter reserves the right to terminate or temporarily suspend this Promotional Competition, at its own cost, if technical or other difficulties may compromise its integrity. In this case, the Promoter, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be held responsible for the termination or temporary suspension of the Promotional Competition

• Neither the Promoter (including its directors, employees, agents and consultants), and their respective advertising, media and Public Relations agencies, nor their trading partners shall be liable in any way whatsoever for any loss, damage or costs, howsoever arising, suffered by any Participant.
• The Promoter reserves the right to alter these rules, including the Prize, at its own discretion. Such altered rules and prizes shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such a date as may be determined and will be placed on the Promoter’s website at www.travelstart.com for Participants to view.
• Should any dispute arise in relation to the interpretation of these competition rules, the decision of the Promoter shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into further.
• These rules are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and Participants agree that this Promotional Competition is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
• In the interest of the Consumer, the Promoter has made every reasonable effort to ensure that the rules, terms and conditions of this Promotional Competition are in line with and subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (CPA), particularly with section 36 of the Act.
