Best time to visit Malé

Over the past couple of years, the Maldives has seen a lot of changes in the climate. These changes leave a longer period for both summer and winter. A long, dry summer season stretches from November to March. This season has a lot going for it, with low prices amongst resorts, and fewer crowds. Although the atmosphere is very laid-back, Malé does offer a lot of activities to keep you busy. Optimal surf and scuba diving conditions are just some of the great benefits of travelling to Malé around this time of year. There are over 1000 species of coral life to explore on the reefs, and it is hard to resist not being outdoors. Winter (May to October) brings the idea of cold, chilly air into the atmosphere, but not the feeling. This fascinating place, with its exotically warm climate still gets to enjoy high temperatures during this time. For sunbathers, this is absolute glory, and they take advantage of basking in the sun. Although the sea life among the reefs is less plentiful, and room rates are at their peak, this little gem in paradise still has so much to offer.
